~ My name is Susan and I am Barkcloth Rose! I have always loved Roses and floral fabrics. I learned to sew from my dear mother, who made dresses for us girls, while I sewed pillows and blankets for my dolls and barbies. When I first stumbled onto vintage barkcloth several years ago, in a tiny antique store, it was love at first sight! I started selling pillows online about 6 years ago, and have had many repeat customers. You inspire me to keep creating! ~

 

~ My latest venture is my new store, Almost Paris Antiques, located in the Village of East Davenport, IA. It is small but packed with great vintage furniture pieces, mirrors, chandeliers, french inspired jewelry, vintage french postcards, and vintage fabric pillows & totes.
